Composers Workshop with Helmut Oehring 13 - 18 March in Bergen, Norway.

BIT20 and the contemporary music festival Borealis have invited Helmut Oehring to run a four day composers workshop with the ensemble as a part of the festival in march 2012.
Oehring has also been comissioned to write a new work to be premiered by BIT20
on 18 March, together with selected pieces by the workshop participants.
The Borealis 2012 theme is "protest", with all comissions and events being developed
with this in mind. Submissions must also relate in some way to the theme.
Submitted scores do not need to be complete works, but must be more developed
than sketches. Submissions must only use the instruments from the following list,
although not all instruments need be used:
flute (picc/alto/bass)
oboe (eng. horn)
clarinet (Eb/bass)
bassoon (contra)
horn
trumpet
trombone
percussion 1
percussion 2
piano
violin 1
violin 2
viola
violoncello
double bass
Percussion instruments must be clarified directly with the ensemble before submission.
